Holds a doctorate degree in the field of genetics, is a board-certified cytogeneticist by the American Board of Medical Genetics and is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. She has been a director of clinical genetic laboratories for over 20 years. Has also published two medical reference books on genetics entitled Cytogenetic Abnormalities: Chromosomal, FISH and Microarray-Based Clinical Reporting (2014), and Cytogenetic Laboratory Management(2016) by Wiley Publishers.
Susan Zneimer, PhD, FACMGG
Has been in the clinical laboratory industry for more than 15 years and holds a doctorate in Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics. Is a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist with the state of California, and her experience includes hospital-based, emergency care facilities, reference laboratories, and molecular genetics laboratories.
Donna Hongo, PhD, CLS
Dr. Petros Giannikopoulos is a board-certified anatomic, pediatric and molecular genetic pathologist with several years of laboratory leadership experience in advanced next-generation sequencing-based molecular diagnostics. Dr. Giannikopoulos obtained his MD from Harvard Medical School, after which he completed his residency at UCSF, and his fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine and Harvard Medical School.
Petros Giannikopoulos, MD, FCAP
Graduated as a clinical biochemist from Universidad de Concepción in Chile, then obtained a PhD in molecular informatics from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and then performed postdoctoral research in bioengineering at the University of California San Francisco. Has published 20 peer-reviewed scientific articles and has submitted 109 patent applications to the US Patent and Trademark Office (30 of which have already been granted) and 45 international patent applications.
